Greetings Sports Fans!

We are entering the last couple of weeks of the regular season for most of our Winter Sports. Wrestling will wrap up their regular season this week as they prepare for JV and Varsity Districts this week. Men’s and Women’s Basketball are in the final weeks of their regular seasons and the Women’s Program is looking to make a late season push in league play. Swimming wrapped up their regular season with their final meet on Friday at Districts. Unified Basketball has two more regular season games before they head off to the State Tournament in Wilsonville and the Ski and Snowboarding Teams have a couple more meets before they compete at their State Races. We March On!

PCA Leadership Summit:
On Thursday February 21st from 330-5pm, the Wilson Athletic Department will be hosting our partners from the Positive Coaching Alliance for a Leadership Summit. At this event, we will be talking about strategies and ideas that our student-athletes can use and help implement in their respective programs and hopefully instill life lessons along the way as well.

Women’s Soccer Meeting
Wilson High School is proud to announce the hiring of our new Women’s Soccer Coach, Josh Richards. We are going to formally introduce Coach Richards on Tuesday, February 12th at 6pm in the Wilson Cafeteria.

Wilson Hall of Fame
Wilson High School is pleased to announce the 2019 Class of the Wilson Hall of Fame. We are going to have an induction ceremony on March 14th at the Spring Sports Assembly and our goal is to pack the gym for the inductees. So put it on your calendar and come out and show your support for our past Wilson Alumni.

Spring Sports Parent Meetings
Mark your calendars for March 6th at 6pm for the Spring Sports Parent Meetings. On this night, individual programs will be meeting with you, the parents, to go over the year, expectations, schedules, and any other pertinent information. This is an important night for each program to ensure proper communication and answer any questions that you might have as well.

A message from the Booster Club:
Volunteer for concessions today! The Wilson Booster Club manages concession sales at games. All profits are returned to Wilson clubs and sports. In order to offer concessions, volunteers are needed to prepare and sell hot dogs, popcorn, etc. Sign up to help today at No experience necessary! If you are new to concession volunteering you'll be trained when you arrive. This is a fun way to give back to the Wilson community.

Spring Sports

If you are planning on going out for a Spring Sport, now is the time to get signed up early. Signing up early allows our office to ensure a smooth transition from winter to spring for our student-athletes but more importantly, it allows the coaches to start their respective seasons smoothly as well without having to worry about who is cleared and who is not. You can sign up for

* Baseball
* Softball
* Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse
* Track and Field
* Men’s and Women’s Golf
* Men’s and Women’s Tennis

Team Just Cure It! - Wilson High School student athletes are raising money to help fight cancer!

Wilson High School sophomores Emma Laboe and Lily Conway are heading up team Just Cure It! as part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year campaign. This is a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Emma, Lily, and their team are asking for your support in helping them raising money for this incredible cause.

Funds raised will not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need. Just click on the following link to help get us closer to a cure!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere we thank you for your support!

Let's go team "Just Cure It!"
