It is with great pleasure that Wilson High School would like to announce the hiring of our new head Women’s Basketball coach, Anthony Levrets. Coach Levrets comes with a wealth of basketball experience to lead the women’s basketball program to great heights. His passion and vision for excellence in all phases of the program will be unmatched.

Coach Levrets and his wife Sarah, along with their children Caiden and Kyler made their way to the Wilson community after most recently being the head coach of the PAC-12’s University of Utah Women’s Basketball program from 2010 to 2015. He also served as the head assistant from 2007-2010.  Before his time at Utah, Levrets coached men’s basketball for ten years, with stints at Southern Oregon University, Willamette University and Lane Community College.  He is currently a Loan Officer at LoanStar Home Lending.

Levrets stated, “I am excited by the challenge of leading the Wilson Women’s Basketball Program.   I want to express my deep gratitude to Principal Brian Chatard and Athletic Director Michael Nolan for giving me this opportunity.  We will work diligently to empower our young women to reach their full potential both on and off the floor, creating a program that the Wilson community can be proud of.”

Wilson is thrilled to have Coach Levrets lead the Women’s Basketball Program.  Having him and his staff continue to grow the game of Basketball in our community is an amazing opportunity for our hoopers!

Thanks,

Michael Nolan
