Greetings Sports Fans! The regular season has come to an end and what a great year it was for Fall Sports here at Wilson High School! Our Volleyball Program had an outstanding year! The Varsity Program was crowned PIL Champs going undefeated in league play losing only one set all year in the PIL! They finished the year with a 22-4 record! Outstanding! The JV Volleyball Program was able to finish first on the JV side as well. The Varsity Women’s Soccer Program took home the league title as well finishing off the regular season with a 9-4-1 record. The way things look now, both teams will be hosting a first round playoff contest. As soon as the rankings freeze, we will have more information on opponents and start times. We March On! The west end gate will be open for entry. The Varsity Men’s Soccer Program capped off their year with a great send off for the Seniors on Thursday night against Benson. Alex Monteiro scored 2 goals in the win and the parents and coaches did an outstanding job of honoring the outgoing seniors. They too are awaiting their playoff opponent as well. The Varsity will be traveling to Beaverton for and endowment game on Monday. Then on Wednesday we host Lakeridge in the first round of the OSAA State Playoffs. Game starts at 6:30pm and it is a white out! Come help us pack the gym! Our Football Program capped off their year with by honoring their senior class on Friday night when we hosted Wilsonville. A huge thanks to the coaches and parents who did an outstanding job of honoring the Senior Class. Super proud of the squad this year as they did not have the outcome of the season that they hoped for but our guys stepped up when they needed to and played every down and second with toughness and resiliency. Finally, the Cross Country Program is gearing up for a big week this week as they prepare for the District Meet this week. Coach Esbensen and his staff have high hopes of competing in both the JV and Varsity races.
